Claire is a born-and-raised Edmontonian who has been in Calgary since 2018. Bikes have always been a part of Claire’s life, and they are grateful to have been raised in a family where bikes were the “go-to” for fun, transportation, and adventure. Claire holds a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Calgary, where their research and teaching centered on the potential of media for community building, identity creation, and activism. Since then, they have had the privilege of combining their passion for community and bikes in their role as the Volunteer Coordinator at Two Wheel View.
When not at Two Wheel View, Claire can be found rowing and coaching on Glenmore Reservoir, playing in the mountains, and sharing fun history facts with anyone willing to listen.
