TWV is looking for a Facilitator for our Earn-a-Bike Program (EAB). The EAB program uses the bike as a tool to develop leadership and teamwork skills, as well as bike mechanic capabilities, in youth grades 7-12. Program Facilitators educate youth via hands-on learning experiences and help them to build social and emotional skills. You are the right candidate if you have a love of bikes and enjoy working with youth. You may not be an expert, but you know your way around a bike and are ready to learn. Ideally, you have worked or volunteered in a youth-focused program-delivery environment before and enjoy rolling with the punches when things don’t go as planned and can see learning opportunities when that happens. You are passionate about creating impact in the lives of youth. This is a part time role that primarily takes place with youth after school hours. Typical shifts run for 4 hours between 2:30pm and 8:00pm, and some weekends are required. There are 3 sessions a year, following the school calendar Fall, Winter, and Spring. You don’t need to be available for all sessions, but it is ideal.
