In Robert's past life (now retired), he was a debt finance Partner at a sizable Calgary based law firm. Prior to his tenure in Calgary, Robert practiced law with a leading global capital debt finance firm in London, England. Prior to law, Robert was a scientist with a BSc in BioChemistry and Grad School in Molecular Genetics.
In Robert's past past life and 100lbs ago (and really, the every waking moment of his soul), Robert was (and forever will be) a cyclist. An internationally competitive Category2 racer (with 2 European race seasons under his belt), Robert has first person seen how incredibly transformative an experience on two wheels can be – whether in the international peloton, touring, or just pedaling down the street.
Perhaps a bit oddly, Robert will often continue conversations with…"this is just like cycling!"…
