Two Wheel View uses the bicycle as a tool to build resiliency in youth. Our programs focus on leadership, health and wellness, environmental stewardship and community engagement. Calgary | Montreal | Twin Cities
School and Community-Based Programs
Youth ages 11-17 take part in active games and bike rides, engage with the community and learn basic bicycle mechanics. Those who complete the program earn a donated, recycled bicycle, new helmet and lock.
TWV offers a grassroots approach to travel where participants explore new cultures and gain valuable experiences while making meaningful community connections. Bike trips take place in Western Canada, Quebec, Argentina and Norway. Adventures available for youth and adults 14 years and older.
In this program Grade 4 students roll up their sleeves and explore curriculum-aligned lessons in torque, leverage, pulleys, wheels, axels and gear ratios. It's all awesome.
Two Wheel View has been using the bicycle as a tool to create opportunities for young people to learn lessons in leadership, health and wellness, self-esteem and environmental stewardship through active education programs and trips since 2001.
Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink Shaw Charity Classic - Two Wheel View is a 2016 participating charitable organization of the Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink (BFK) program – a charitable initiative launched by the 2015 Shaw Charity Classic. Through the BFK program, donors can make either a one-time donation or a pledge for each “birdie” made by Champions Tour players during the 2016 Shaw Charity Classic, August 31 – September 4, 2016. Two Wheel View receives 100% of all donations made to TWV through the Birdies for Kids program. All donations will receive a tax receipt. The best part is, through the matching program, Two Wheel View will receive extra funding of up to 50% of collected donations. So, if you make a $100 donation, it’s comparable to making a $150 donation!
