Volunteer Service Trips
Two Wheel View offers a grass-roots approach to responsible travel that empowers students, cultivates their leadership skills and allows them to gain valuable experiences and make meaningful connections.
As a part of the Two Wheel View volunteer service trip experience, students will:
- Volunteer in local and host community projects.
- Prepare for their adventure through Two Wheel View’s unique pre-trip orientation sessions that includes bike mechanics, team building, and fun.
- Discover new cultures and natural landscapes.
- Stay connected after the trip through social media and events hosted by Two Wheel View.
Two Wheel View volunteer service trips align with school and youth organizations curriculum and goals. It is an ideal way to give students the chance to put down their textbooks and learn from experience.
Choose a Two Wheel View – Experience
Imagine spending a few weeks in a remote region of Argentina or Norway or visiting the historic towns and cities of Quebec or discovering western Canada’s mountain parks – experiencing outdoor adventure, exploring new cultures, learning as you go.
Give your students the opportunity to travel
Two Wheel View volunteer service trips are for students 14 years and older. A typical group size is seven to ten students. Talk to a Two Wheel View-Trips Director and learn how you can travel for free as a chaperone.
Managing the details
Two Wheel View will manage all the trip arrangements including: safety and supervision, airline tickets, bicycles and equipment, coordination of volunteer service projects, activities, accommodation, all meals, and experienced trip leaders.
We work to keep our trips affordable for everyone. All participants have the opportunity to fundraise for their trip cost. Two Wheel View can help individuals and groups with fundraising strategies and tools. A charitable tax receipt will be issued for all eligible donations.
